- How can I make my reservations?
You can make reservations at http://booking.discoverytours.com.sg/ for INSTANT Confirmation.
- What is the Mode of payment?
Payment can be made by credit card at our Online Booking Engine.
Other modes of payment:

Kindly fax or email a copy of your bank in slip to us.
- How long will it take to receive a response to my reservation request?
You will receive a reply within two days of making your reservation request. However if you make an internet booking, you will be able to secure an instant confirmation.
- What are your cancellation/amendment policies?
Should there be a change in your travel plans, kindly inform us in advance. Amendments made 4 weeks before the scheduled departure will be charged at $50 per person. Cancellations or Amendments made less than 4 weeks before the departure date will have no refund. There are no refunds for No-Shows.

- Can I make special requests?
The hotel staff will do their best to accommodate your requests. However, these are subject to availability at the time of your check-in to the hotel.
- At what ages do children qualify for Child Rates?
Child rates apply to children between 2 to 12 years old.
- Is a visa required to travel to Malaysia?
Many visitors do not need a visa to visit Malaysia and are exempt when visiting for holidays or social purposes, however it would be prudent and responsible to check before travelling. - What Is the usual climate?
The average yearly temperature during the day is about 31 Celsius or 88 Fahrenheit. At night the yearly average temperature is 24 Celsius or 74 Fahrenheit.
- When is the monsoon season?
The official monsoon season starts from the middle of November until the middle of February.
As it is good weather most times even during the monsoon season, our resort remains open throughout the year. There are monsoon promotions.
Our Ferry operator, Blue Water Ferry Services, operates the ferry from MersingTioman once a day during the monsoon period. The schedule may vary depending on Tide Levels, Sea Conditions and Weather.
- What is the Weather during monsoon season?
The weather in Tioman is good most times with blue skies and bright sunshine. However it is not possible to predict the actual weather on any given day. It is prudent for you to check.
- Are there ATM facilities on Tioman?
No, there are no ATM facilities on Tioman, but we accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards. For purchases and expenses outside the resort, we advise guests to bring cash.
- Is there a Mosque at Tioman?
Yes. The Mosque is located at Kampong Genting, about 20 minutes from the resort by boat.
- Are there any Clinics at Tioman?
The nearest government clinic is located at Teket village some 15 minutes away by speedboat. The contact number for the Clinic is 09-4191880.
- What is the difference between Paya beach and Tioman Paya?
Please note that there are 2 " Paya" resorts in Tioman. We are "Paya Beach Resort". Our resort is located is at the beach front area and most of our rooms are sea facing. Also, we have the only swimming pool, spa outlet, karaoke, cyber cafe, western/asian restaurant, beach club and a PADI dive centre.
The other "Paya" is located behind the river in the forest area. It is called "Tioman Paya Beach Resort".

- Are there any shopping malls at Tioman?
No. However, you are able to purchase things at our Duty Free Shops.
- Where in Singapore do we board the coach to Tioman Island?
We operate a tourist registered air-conditioned coach (registered with the Singapore and Malaysian Tourism Authorities).
Singapore Flyer entrance (No 30, Raffles Avenue, Singapore 039803) is the location for pick up. Passengers boarding the bus will meet at the Singapore Flyer entrance by 6.15am; the coach will depart at 6.30am sharp. The driver (of the coach) will take the attendance of the passengers. Please note that it is your responsibilities to contact us 1 week before your departure date to reconfirm your transportation timings again for any changes in the departure times.

- Are there breaks during the coach journey?
Yes, there will be a convenient stop both ways of the journey.
- What are the Coach & Ferry Schedules?

Note: Coach / Ferry schedules are estimated and subjected to daily weather and tide condition at Mersing and Tanjong Gemok. Sailing schedules may be interrupted and/or crossing times extended or changed without notice to you due to adverse weather conditions, tidal conditions, unforeseen operational or technical reasons beyond our control.
- How do I obtain my travel vouchers?
Once you make your full payment, we will send to you via email.
- How do I go from Mersing to Tg Gemok Jetty?
Tanjong Gemok Ferry Terminal is in Endau town.
If you are driving from JB to Mersing, the distance is about 134 kilometers.
From Mersing to Endau, you have to drive another 38 kilometers north. Once you reach Endau town, you will cross a big river and the ferry terminal is on your right.
- What is the Mersing jetty address?
The road name at Mersing jetty is "Jalan Abu Bakar".
The parking lot is right next to Mersing jetty. It's known as Mersing jetty car park.
- How and where do I collect my ferry tickets?
Upon arrival at Mersing jetty, please proceed to our Meet & Greet office at Counter No. 2 to collect your ferry tickets in exchange for your ferry voucher.
Upon arrival at Tg Gemok, kindly proceed to counter No. 3 to collect your ferry tickets in exchange for your ferry voucher.
- How long does it take to sail from Mersing/ Tg Gemok Jetty to Paya Beach Resort?
It takes approximately 1hr 30mins.
- How do I get from the Paya jetty to Paya beach resort?
All ferries from Mersing stop at Paya village. Upon arrival, there will be Concierge staffs to assist. Our Reception desk is only a 3 - 5 minutes’ walk to the jetty. Our Reception contact number is 09-419 7100.
